Saudi Arabia and India were biggest buyers of Russian fuel oil in July, data shows

In July, Saudi Arabia and India emerged as the primary destinations for Russian seaborne fuel oil and vacuum gasoil (VGO) exports. Saudi Arabia imported approximately 1.1 million metric tons, mainly for power plants during peak air conditioning demand. India's imports increased by 65% to about 0.6 million tons, serving as a cost-effective refinery feedstock alternative.
