Russia-Ukraine war: North Korean troops desert Zelenskyy, to join Putin's side as a special unit

In a major escalation, North Korea has reportedly sent nearly 10,000 troops to Russia to aid its military efforts amid the war in Ukraine. As per reports, the Russian army is forming a combat unit of 3,000 North Korean soldiers. This move has prompted Ukrainian President Zelenskyy to urge for increased support from Kyiv’s allies.
