Russia shifts more funds to military in budget draft

Russia plans to reallocate 7 trillion roubles in its next three-year budget, focusing heavily on military spending. By 2025, 13.5 trillion roubles will go to the military, making defence spending double that of social programs for the first time. New amendments could increase this figure further. The draft budget has passed its first reading in parliament.
