Russia says has taken back major chunk of Kursk region from Ukrainian forces

Russian forces have reclaimed over 800 square km of territory in western Russia, pushing Ukraine into a defensive stance. Colonel General Sergei Rudskoi stated Russia controls 75% of Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and nearly all of Luhansk regions, now legally part of Russia. Future conflict depends on Western negotiations for a new European security architecture.
