Rural artisans being trained in kite making ahead of Uttarayan in Gujarat

With the Uttarayan festival approaching, Gujarat has launched a ₹23 lakh initiative to train 444 artisans in kite-making, promoting self-employment. Training sessions focus on market opportunities and are currently held across multiple districts. The International Kite Festival will feature participants from 47 countries and several Indian states, highlighting the strong demand for kites domestically and internationally.
