Robust monitoring mechanism of ELI schemes in works to create new jobs

The government plans to launch three employment-linked incentive schemes by December. These schemes will focus on creating new jobs in labour-intensive sectors such as textiles, leather, and auto components. The labour ministry will monitor the plans to ensure employers benefit and there are no system leaks. The schemes aim to move workers from informal to formal sectors.
