West Bengal Chief Secretary Manoj Pant has scheduled a meeting with doctors associations to address the ongoing junior doctor protests. Junior doctors demand the replacement of the state health secretary among other issues. Some doctors have been hospitalized due to deteriorating health. Private hospitals have announced a 48-hour partial cease-work in solidarity with the junior doctors.
