Retail inflation for industrial workers inches up at 2.44% in Aug
Retail inflation for industrial workers slightly increased to 2.44% in August from 2.15% in July. The All-India CPI-IW for August 2024 dropped to 142.6 points from 142.7 in July. Year-on-year inflation for August 2024 is at 2.44%, significantly down from 6.91% in August 2023, as per the Labour Bureau.
