Retail inflation for farm workers eased to 5.96% in Aug; 6.08% for rural labourers
Retail inflation for farm and rural workers in India eased in August, with rates dropping to 5.96% and 6.08%, respectively, from July's figures of 6.17% and 6.20%. The All-India Consumer Price Index for Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers increased by 7 points each, reaching levels of 1297 and 1309.
