RedBird Capital Partners is seeking to sell its minority stake in IPL team Rajasthan Royals, aiming to double its initial $37.5 million investment made four years ago. The IPLs soaring valuation and global demand for cricket team ownership have fueled interest. The Royals, owned by Emerging Media Ventures, also operate franchises in the Caribbean and South Africa.
