RBI carrying out internal review of Jalan panel recommendations: Sanjay Malhotra

The Reserve Bank of India is conducting an internal review of its economic capital framework as part of a periodic assessment mandated every five years. Governor Sanjay Malhotra noted that the review, initiated by the Bimal Jalan-led committee, addresses uncertainties without necessarily increasing the contingency risk buffer.
