Railways hikes fares: From AC to express trains, here’s how much more you’ll pay from July 1

Starting July 1st, Indian Railways will implement a slight fare increase for long-distance travelers, according to sources. Daily commuters and those with Monthly Season Tickets will not be affected. Ordinary second-class travel up to 500 km remains unchanged. However, fares will rise for longer distances in ordinary second class, as well as for Mail/Express and AC classes.
