Rahul Gandhi gets bail in defamation case over alleged remarks on Army personnel

Rahul Gandhi, leader of opposition and Congress MP, secured bail from a Lucknow court on Tuesday after appearing in a defamation case. The case stems from remarks made during his Bharat Jodo Yatra in 2022, concerning an alleged clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers. The court summoned Gandhi after taking cognizance of a complaint filed by a retired army official.
