Quebec and Canada find common ground: 'Who is best to stand up to Trump?'

Since Donald Trump said he wanted to make Canada the 51st American state, Quebec has openly shown support for the country it belongs to – a first in the history of the French-speaking province. Although this show of solidarity has pushed the pro-independence cause into the background, it does not diminish the enduring desire to preserve Quebec's identity.
