Punjab: Leave of IAS, PCS officers cancelled amid India-Pakistan tensions Pakistan

Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, the Punjab government has cancelled all leaves for IAS and PCS officers. This order affects officers across the state. Punjab Police had already cancelled leave for its personnel. The directive, issued by Gurpreet Kaur Sapra, Secretary Personnel, is effective immediately. Blackouts were enforced in several cities including Pathankot and Amritsar.
