Procter & Gamble replaces CEO Moeller in surprise move with COO Shailesh Jejurikar

Jon Moeller, Procter & Gamble CEO, will step down. Shailesh Jejurikar will succeed him, effective January 1, 2026. Moeller will become executive chairman. The company is undergoing a restructuring plan. This includes job cuts and exiting some markets. Jejurikar's appointment continues P&G's tradition of promoting internal candidates. He has held various roles within the company.
