President Murmu in Angola: A turning point for India’s outreach to Africa

President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Luanda, Angola, where she was welcomed with a guard of honour and held bilateral talks with President João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço to deepen cooperation in energy, infrastructure, defence, health, agriculture and digital technologies. As part of the visit, India and Angola signed MoUs on fisheries, aquaculture and consular matters, underscoring India’s commitment to be a reliable development partner.
