President confers six Kirti Chakras & 33 Shaurya Chakras during Defence Investiture Ceremony 2025

President Droupadi Murmu honored brave individuals with Kirti Chakras and Shaurya Chakras at Rashtrapati Bhawan. The awards recognized exceptional courage displayed by Armed Forces, Central Armed Police Forces, and State/Union Territory Police personnel during counter-terrorism operations in Jammu and Kashmir, anti-piracy missions, and rescue efforts. Several awards were given posthumously, acknowledging sacrifices made in the line of duty.
