‘Preposterous, outrageous, deranged’: India slams Pak’s claim that Indian forces targeted Amritsar

India's Foreign Secretary, Vikram Misri on Friday strongly rejected Pakistan’s claim that Indian forces targeted the city of Amritsar. He called the accusation “preposterous and outrageous”. Misri said that Pakistan was making a “desperate attempt” to hide its own acts of aggression. He added that these claims were meant to mislead the international community. Pakistan had accused India of attacking the holy city of Amritsar and of planning a false flag operation there. In response, Misri said Pakistan was trying to shift blame and spread false information.
