Power struggle in Pakistan? PM Shehbaz Sharif addresses speculations around regime change in country

Pakistans Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday dismissed rumours that President Asif Ali Zardari may be asked to resign or that Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir is seeking to assume the presidency. Calling the claims “mere speculations,” Sharif said no such plan exists and reiterated that he, Zardari, and Munir share mutual respect and a common goal of national progress.
