Power firms seek faster clearance of dues by Bangladesh

Indian power companies are facing mounting dues from Bangladesh, prompting discussions with the country’s Power Development Board (BPDB) to resolve the issue. Adani Power, NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN), Sembcorp Energy India, SEIL Energy India, and PTC India export power to Bangladesh, which owes over $1 billion to Indian companies.
