Police: Man with knife barricaded himself inside Anchorage apartment and tried to set it on fire

Oct. 14—Update, 6:55 a.m., Monday: Anchorage police identified a man accused of trying to set a Government Hill apartment on fire as 34-year-old Patrick Moran, who was described in 911 reports Saturday night as holding a large knife, hitting cars, and slashing tires on vehicles in the parking lot.
