PM Modi to inaugurate underground Metro in Pune on September 26: Fadnavis

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Pune's new underground Metro and lay the foundation for an elevated route on September 26. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced this while thanking Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for various infrastructure projects, including the Palkhi Marg. The proposal to name Pune airport after Sant Tukaram Maharaj will also be sent to the Centre.
