Parliament to take final decision on UCC, Waqf issues: Omar Abdullah

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah stated that Parliament will have the final say on the Uniform Civil Code and Waqf (Amendment) Bill. While Uttarakhand has implemented the UCC as part of BJP's election promises, the parliamentary committee continues to discuss the Waqf amendments before a law is enacted.
