Pakistan violates ceasefire along LoC near multiple J&K districts, Indian Army responds

The Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked small arms firing across multiple sectors along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, violating the ceasefire agreement. The Indian Army responded proportionately to the firing that occurred during the night of May 1–2, 2025, targeting Indian positions in Kupwara, Baramulla, and other sectors.
