Pakistan carries out strikes in Kabul; former US envoy calls it ‘huge escalation’

Former US envoy Zalmay Khalilzad called Pakistans recent strikes in Kabul a “huge escalation” that poses serious risks and urged dialogue between Islamabad and Kabul instead of military action. He highlighted the role of both countries in supporting opposing militant groups and stressed that negotiations are a better solution to address terrorist sanctuaries along the Durand Line.
