Pakistan, Bangladesh resume direct trade for first time since 1971 separation

Pakistan and Bangladesh have resumed direct trade after more than 50 years, with a PNSC vessel departing from Port Qasim carrying 50,000 tonnes of rice. This marks a significant step in enhancing economic cooperation and building direct shipping routes, following renewed bilateral relations post Sheikh Hasina's period as prime minister.
