Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, the Pakistan Army's spokesperson, is the son of Mahmood Sultan Bashir-Ud-Din, a nuclear scientist sanctioned by the UN for ties to Al-Qaeda and the Taliban. Bashir-Ud-Din, founder of UTN, provided Osama bin Laden and the Taliban with information on chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons.
