Orange alert in three districts in Kerala; heavy rains lash several parts of state

In Kerala, heavy rains with thunderstorms and lightning hit several areas on Saturday. The IMD predicted more heavy rains and upgraded warnings in three districts. A woman in Alappuzha died due to a lightning strike. Rainwater caused damage in many places, and the state disaster management authority advised people in risky areas to move to safer locations.
