A red alert was declared in Uttar Pradesh after the Indian Army's targeted strike on terror hideouts in Pakistan under 'Operation Sindoor'. UP Police have been directed to coordinate with Defence units and bolster security at vital installations, according to a statement by the states Director General of Police.
