Operation Sindoor: Pakistan a safe haven for terrorists, further attacks on India were also planned, says MEA

India launched Operation Sindoor, a series of targeted military strikes on terror-linked sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoK), in response to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam that killed 26 civilians, including tourists and a Navy officer. The Indian government said the attack was carried out by a Pakistani national associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba.
