Omar chooses Jammu's Surender Choudhary as his deputy, says he wants inclusive govt

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah appointed Surender Choudhary from Nowshera in Jammu as his deputy to provide regional representation and inclusivity. Abdullah affirmed the commitment to include all regions. The National Conference, in alliance with Congress, holds a majority in the newly elected assembly.
