Omar Abdullah takes oath as first Chief Minister of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir

Omar Abdullah has been sworn in as the first Chief Minister of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The ceremony took place at SKICC, with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha administering the oath. This marks the first elected govt there since the repeal of Article 370 and the reorganisation of the former state into two Union Territories.
