Oil prices dip, stay near 5-month low on US-China trade tensions, looming supply surplus
Brent crude futures fell 23 cents, or 0.4%, to $62.16 a barrel at 11:11 a.m. EDT (1511 GMT). U.S. West Texas Intermediate futures fell 14 cents, or 0.2%, to $58.56. Bank of America said Brent prices could slip below $50 a barrel if U.S.-China trade tensions intensify while OPEC+ production ramps up.
