No proposal to hike honorarium for Anganwadi workers: Centre

The Women and Child Development Ministry clarifies that there are no plans to raise the honorarium for anganwadi workers and helpers under the POSHAN scheme. Minister Savitri Thakur states that these workers are considered honorary. They offer voluntary services for child care. The honorarium was last revised in October 2018.
