NITI Aayog CEO Subrahmanyam gets one year extension

The Centre has extended the tenure of NITI Aayog Chief Executive Officer (CEO) B V R Subrahmanyam by one year, as per an order from the Personnel Ministry. Subrahmanyam, a retired 1987-batch IAS officer from Chhattisgarh, was initially appointed in February 2023 for a two-year term. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has now approved an extension, which will extend his tenure as CEO until February 24, 2026.
