Nissan sells, leases back headquarters in $643 million deal

Nissan has sold its global headquarters in Yokohama, Japan, for 97 billion yen. The automaker will lease the building back as part of its restructuring plans. This deal is expected to bring significant income in the current fiscal year. The buyer is an entity sponsored by Minth Group and led by KKR. Nissan will announce its half-year earnings later today.
