New trade data shows significant widening of India's exports basket

India's exports in fiscal year 2024-25 were significantly boosted by key sectors like engineering goods, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and electronics, collectively contributing over 50%. Electronic goods exports saw the highest growth, while engineering goods remained the top contributor. Agricultural exports also rose, with rice achieving a record high.
