New Sri Lankan PM has old India connect having BA degree from DU

New Sri Lankan President Anura K Dissanayake has appointed Harini Amarasuriya as Prime Minister. Amarasuriya, an alumnus of Delhi University, will serve until parliamentary elections in November. The new Foreign Minister, Vijitha Herath, also has ties to India and has expressed commitment to strengthening India-Sri Lanka relations.
