NDRF deploys teams for safety at Gangasagar Mela 2025

Five specialised search and rescue teams from the NDRF will be deployed for the safety of pilgrims at the Gangasagar Mela. The teams include male and female rescuers, a canine squad, and medical and communication teams. They are equipped for various types of emergencies. The Mela will be held in West Bengal from January 10 to January 18.
