NaBFID’s new product to boost municipal bonds: MD

NaBFID is set to release a credit enhancement product for municipal bonds within four months, improving the credit ratings of municipal corporations and increasing their appeal to investors. They are also considering a hybrid borrowing approach, with a total sanction limit of Rs 2.4 lakh crore, split between ECBs and domestic infra bonds.
