Myanmar turns to India as China supplies poor-quality materials

Myanmar's junta, dissatisfied with the quality of Chinese construction materials used in Nay Pyi Taw and their vulnerability to earthquakes, has sought assistance from India. India has responded by initiating the supply of cement for construction and reconstruction efforts. This support follows 'Operation Brahma,' India's comprehensive aid initiative after the recent earthquake.
