My Adult Son Won’t Talk to Us About Work or His Future

I’m a woman in my 60s. I live with my husband and our son, who is in his 30s. Our other child has already moved out. My husband and I both work full time, and since graduating from college, our son has changed jobs repeatedly. He seems friendly and sociable with friends who share his hobbies, but he does not speak with his family. He says that our opinions and questions about his behavior are nagging and unpleasant, so he does not want to talk to us. As for his next job, he insists that he will not tell us anything because he does not want our advice and does not want us interfering.
