Mutual Funds bet big on 9 microcaps stocks, 2 turn multibaggers in CY25

In the Nifty Microcap 250 index, around 30 stocks have gone up by more than 25% so far in 2025. To narrow down the list, we added another filter — we only looked at stocks that are held by more than 10 mutual fund schemes as of June 2025. When mutual funds invest in a stock, it typically indicates thorough research and analysis on their part, which can boost confidence among individual investors.Next, we focused on high-momentum stocks — those that have risen more than 50% in 2025 so far. After applying both filters (strong performance and mutual fund backing), only 9 stocks made the cut. Interestingly, two of these stocks have become multibaggers this year.
