Mumbai taxi and auto-rickshaw fares increase: New rates effective from February 2025

Mumbai Metropolitan Region Transport Authority has announced revised fares for CNG black-yellow taxis and auto-rickshaws. The new rates will be effective from February 1, 2025. Minimum fares for taxis will increase to Rs 31 per km and auto-rickshaws to Rs 26 per km. Fare meters must be recalibrated by April 30, 2025.
