MSU board member's organization faces scrutiny for giving business access to state officials

A nonprofit led by MSU Trustee Rebecca Bahar-Cook is facing scrutiny over its role in potentially helping business leaders gain special influence with state officials. Bahar-Cook said her work as the executive director of the Michigan Economic Development Foundation is "wholly unrelated" to her work as a university trustee.
