MoS Finance likely to be convenor of GoM on GST compensation cess
A Group of Ministers led by Union Minister Pankaj Chaudhary will rework the GST compensation cess nomenclature. The panel will suggest how to apportion the cess collected on luxury and demerit goods between the Centre and states, and recommend necessary legal changes.
