More opt to take Social Security early
Federal budget cuts have caused havoc at Social Security offices. And a recent report says the trust funds for the benefit will become insolvent earlier than expected. With this as the backdrop, more people are opting to take benefits in their low to mid 60s instead of waiting to receive the maximum amount at 70.
