MMRDA approves Rs 8498 crore slum rehab scheme for Ramabai Nagar, Kamraj Nagar in Mumbai

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority has approved an Rs 8,498 crore slum rehabilitation scheme in Ghatkopar East. The project aims to rehabilitate around 17,000 slum dwellers with free 1BHK homes and improved infrastructure. This initiative is expected to be completed in 48 months and will support the extension of the Eastern Freeway till Thane.
