Mizoram: Memorandum of Agreement signed for relocation of Assam Rifles Battalion from Aizawl city to Zokhawsang
The Government of Mizoram and the Assam Rifles have signed an MoA to relocate the Assam Rifles Battalion from Aizawl to Zokhawsang. The MoA includes agreements on land handovers, with Assam Rifles retaining certain HQ areas and the Government of Mizoram gaining other lands by April 2025.
